In the UK our homes create a quarter of all CO² emissions. ‘A’ rated windows are an important way to help reduce our impact on our environment and save your customers money. It’s estimated that modern lead-free PVCu products can be recycled up to 10 times until the material becomes unstable. If a typical PVCu window or door last 35 years, that’s a material that will last 350 years! Aluminium is one of the most abundant metals on Earth, is completely recyclable and requires low levels of heat to be regenerated.
SCI windows will help eliminate energy loss from your home as our glazing units offer up to 3 times more thermal insulation than standard double-glazing and are 20% better than Low-E thermally insulated glass. (Low-E is currently required under building regulations).
